About Me
Glad you are here!
My name is Catherine but friends call me Kasia or Kas.
I began my exploration over a decade ago through yoga. What started as a physical practice soon became a deep inquiry into sensation, self-awareness, and the nervous system. I spent a year travelling through India, studying, practicing and exploring stillness. Later, I completed a 300 - hour training with the beautiful team at Heart and Bones Yoga, whose approach to anatomy, sustainability, and self-agency continues to influence my work.
I hold a post graduate degree in Yoga and Relaxation from AWF in Poland, and have since woven together traditional yoga with somatic exploration, nervous system education, and hands-on healing.
My studies include:
21-day Nervous System Reset + SmartBody SmartMind (SBSM) with Irene Lyon and her team.
Continuum Movement and Movement Mapping, practices that focus on inner fluidity and non-linear awareness
Courses in embodied anatomy and movement with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen
Training in Kobido facial massage at Namaya School in Krosno, Poland
All these teachings honor the intelligence of the body.
Today, I offer classes, private sessions, and treatments that are grounded in curiosity, softness, and respect for your body's pace. I movement teach it to create space - to feel, to listen, and to return.
In the Yoga Sutras, sthira sukham asanam reminds us that the posture is meant to be both stable and easeful. This balance of support and softness is the heart of what I guide.
Rather than striving for alignment as an outer ideal, I invite people into inner coherence - into the felt sense, into the relationship between effort and surrender, tone and rest.
In many classical teachings, asana was never the final goal. It was preparation for stillness. For presence. For svadhyaya - self-study through embodied experience.
In my classes, we explore the spaces in between. Between what we've taught to override, and what the body is quietly trying to say.
This is not survival - based movement. This is reclamation of safety, rhythm, and curiosity.
My work weaves together years of teaching yoga with ongoing studies in the nervous system, trauma-informed practice, Continuum movement, and the healing power of touch through Kobido massage. These practices all share one thing: listening, not fixing.
